PAIA Manual

This is the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”) manual for Pulse Collect (Pty) Ltd. PAIA gives effect to section 32 of the Constitution, providing the public with the right of access to information held by both public and private bodies.

1. The body

Name: Pulse Collect (Pty) Ltd. Trading as Pulse Collect. Domain: pulsecollect.co.za. Registered with the Council for Debt Collectors.

2. Information Officer

Our appointed Information Officer is Raphael (info@pulsecollect.co.za). All access requests are coordinated through this office.

3. Categories of records held

  • Client mandate documents and case files.
  • Statutory records under the Companies Act 71 of 2008.
  • Tax and financial records under the Tax Administration Act.
  • Employment records under the Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
  • POPIA-aligned data processing schedules and breach registers.

4. How to request access

Requests must be made on the prescribed PAIA Form 2 (private body), delivered to the Information Officer by email or post. The prescribed request fee may apply.

5. Grounds for refusal

We may refuse access on the grounds set out in chapter 4 of PAIA, including but not limited to: protection of third-party privacy, commercial confidentiality, legal privilege, and statutory prohibitions on disclosure.
