Pulse Collect (Pty) Ltd(“Pulse Collect”, “we”, “us”) is the responsible party for personal information collected through pulsecollect.co.za. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and the eight conditions for lawful processing.

1. Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry through this website, we collect the information you provide voluntarily: full name, company, role, work email, telephone number, and a description of the matter. Our servers also automatically log standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user-agent) for security and operational purposes.

2. Purpose of processing

We process this information for the specific purpose of assessing your enquiry, responding to it, and (where you instruct us) administering a debt-collection mandate on your behalf. We do not use enquiry data for marketing without your further consent.

3. Your rights as a data subject

  • Confirmation that we hold your personal information.
  • Access to that information, on reasonable notice.
  • Correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Deletion of information once the lawful purpose for processing has ended.
  • Objection to processing, on reasonable grounds.
  • To lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

4. Information Officer

Our appointed Information Officer is Raphael. Requests under this policy can be sent to info@pulsecollect.co.za.

5. Retention

We retain enquiry records for the period required to respond, plus a further reasonable period for audit, legal, and regulatory purposes consistent with the Debt Collectors Act 114 of 1998.

6. Cross-border transfers

Where third-party tooling we rely on (for example, email delivery) processes data outside South Africa, we ensure adequate safeguards in line with section 72 of POPIA.
